IT'S A BANNER FUCKING DAY ON LJ FOR ME!!
I'm seriously about to flip out....work is driving me crazy.
it's going by sooooooooo slooooowllly...which is bad enough, but my users' constant bullshit and need to feel like they're important is getting to me even more than usual.
that and this whole "the company isn't generating the projected revenues so we're on a spending freeze" bullshit is compounding it. So yeah...I can't get a raise right now, I can't get the necessary equipment to run our infrastructure....but the company can still fork out the $70k to buy all the executives new flat panels....oh and their assistants too. Fly the managers to Puerto Rick for a management meeting must be a necessary expense also. fuck paying the guy who keeps everything running (and you making money) what he should be paid.

I'm pretty happy with the results, considering that my car is 100% stock and only supposed to put 230hp out at the crank. For those who don't know; these readings are at the wheels which translates to about 255-265 hp at the crank.
first pull I had just driven my car 30+ miles to the dyno shop. I was boosting the whole way, so the car was super hot.
Second pull was after a 20 minute cool down. Engine was still warmed up, but not "face of the sun" hot

Matt came over and kicked it till 11ish....then he left...I shoulda gone to sleep, but I stayed up until 2...then had to wake up at 6.
it's been like that all week.
I need sleep, but I have to fucking work this weekend.

on buying an Xbox, the xbox live starter kit and Crimson Skies.
not that the game or the game system aren't cool....but I spent about 6 hours playing live last night and this morning and I don't think I played against anyone who was over the age of 15...most sounding around 10.
ugh....I got the xbox for Halo 2, hopefully the single player mode will make it worth it.
maybe I should grow up and stop playing video games....I can never find anyone to play with (either in a clan or not) that's mature and serious enough. |
